Carol E. Parrish-Harra
Rev. Carol E. Parrish-Harra, PhD, long known as a "practical mystic," is the founder of Sparrow Hawk Village, an intentional community located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, a small settlement in the Ozarks. She currently serves as Bishop at The Chapel of Christ Sophia, which is affiliated with the Ascension Alliance, part of the independent Catholic movement, and Dean Emeritus of Sancta Sophia Seminary, a modern-day mystery school. Carol has received numerous awards, including the Russian Nebolsin Medal and the Earl Award which is awarded for Religious Futurists. Her books include Sophia Sutras, the New Dictionary of Spiritual Thought, and the Adventure in Meditation Series, which won the Athena Award for Mentoring Excellence three years in a row. Her recent book, Remember to Remember, focuses on the culture and beliefs of the Maya.
