Dame Margaret Anne Begg, DBE (b. 1955), is a Scottish politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Aberdeen South, Scotland, from 1997 to 2015. A member of the Labour Party, she was Chair of the Work and Pensions Select Committee from 2010 to 2015. Upon her election to Parliament, Begg became the first permanent wheelchair user in the House of Commons since the nineteenth century.
