Lin Bautze

About

Lin Bautze is Project Manager for the “Living Farms” program at the Goetheanum Section for Agriculture. Previously, she was Scientific Coordinator at the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture, where she led scientific monitoring activities for the “Strategies for Organic and Low-input-farming to Mitigate and Adapt to Climate Change” (SOLMACC) project, which focused on optimized nutrient management, crop rotation, reduced tillage and agroforestry in Germany, Italy, and Sweden. She was also engaged in the negotiations in Bonn, Germany, for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Global Change Management from the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, Germany, a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental and Resource Management from the Brandenburgische Technische Universitat Cottbus, Germany, and studied Environmental Science at the University of Buea in Cameroon. Lin has published numerous articles and books. She is also a yoga teacher and a music therapy educator.
